The Embraer Historical Center Project began in 2006 with the objective of managing the Company’s memory. This means bringing together, preserving and making available the details of the history of Embraer that, due to their uniqueness and importance, stir the curiosity and interest of scholars inside and outside of Brazil.
This continuous gathering process keeps the Company’s memory organized and preserved, thus guaranteeing that the knowledge and experiences lived out during four decades are available for consultation.
The Historical Center exhibition space was inaugurated on August 20, 2007. Located in São José dos Campos, the Center preserves an historical collection of documents and information on the institutional trajectory of Embraer and the evolution of its products, from the Company’s origins to the present, and makes all this available to interested persons.
