Global Presence

Fort Lauderdale - FLL - Office

The Embraer Aircraft Company - EAC kicked its activities off at an Aero Industries office, in Dania, Fla., in October 1979, aiming to provide support for the growing EMB 110 Bandeirante fleet.

In 1981, Embraer moved to an address not far away, in Fort Lauderdale, next to Hollywood International Airport, to concentrate the sales activities in North America and provide technical support to new customers in the region.

Besides marketing aircraft, the Fort Lauderdale unit provides training for pilots and mechanics, replacement parts, and technical assistance based on a cutting-edge data processing system. In October 2008, Embraer inaugurated the third Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) Center for Phenom 100, Phenom 300, Legacy 450, Legacy 500, and Legacy 600 executive jets at FLL. This is a structure that provides Embraer customers with service on par with the prestige the company has earned internationally.
